Investment & Opportunities Table

The Investment & Opportunities Table is a collaborative initiative led by the FNBDA to centralize and share investment opportunities, business ventures, and best-practices that benefit First Nation‑owned Development Corporations across British Columbia

The Table acts as a strategic platform where:

• Members can contribute and access curated opportunities
• Investors and partners can bring forward projects, supplier contracts, or joint‑venture prospects
• First Nation development corporations can identify, evaluate, and engage in investment pathways that drive economic growth

This initiative supports the FNBDA’s mission to lift the collective strength and influence of First Nation Development Corporations by promoting greater transparency, alignment, and shared economic benefit. By facilitating information exchange between members and external organisations, the Table encourages collaboration that accelerates business engagement and build scalable Indigenous‑led ventures.

Why Participate?

For FNBDA Members:

  • Gain access to new investment and procurement opportunities shared by peers, industry partners, and government
  • Leverage collective knowledge to evaluate and pursue opportunities aligned with your development, governance and capacity priorities
  • Build relationships with investors, partners and members active in new sectors

For External Organizations & Partners:

  • Present opportunities — including investment prospects, procurement frameworks, or collaborative ventures — directly to a broad network of First Nation economic development leaders
  • Connect with development corporations that are actively seeking partnerships and strategic alliances
  • Support Indigenous economic self-determination while advancing inclusive, socially responsible business outcomes

How It Works

  1. Opportunity Submission:
Organizations and members may submit opportunities via an online form or direct email to the FNBDA investment table coordinator.

  2. Review & Curate:
Submissions are reviewed by FNBDA staff to ensure relevance, alignment with member interests, and strategic value.

  3. Sharing & Engagement:
Approved opportunities are shared with members through an in-person or virtual gathering hosted by the FNBDA.

  4. Follow-Up & Partnership Development:
Interested members connect with the submitting organisation to explore feasibility, partnership terms, and next steps.

This process ensures opportunities are transparent, actionable and tailored to the economic interests of First Nation development corporations.
