Governance Manual of the Wet’suwet’en First Nation, developed in recognition of Wet’suwet’en First Nation’s unique authority and role, covering the following policy areas: Code of Conduct, Council Roles and Responsibilities, Council Governance Structure, Council Orientation, Unity of Control, Administration, Asset Protection, Principles for Establishing Council Committees, Finance, and Complaints and Dispute Resolution Procedure. The practices are drawn from the experiences of the Wet’suwet’en First Nation Community Members and Council Members, as well as other First Nations practicing good governance.
