The purpose of the Sq’ew?:lxw Environmental Law is ensure that the people’s vision of a safe, prosperous, and sustainable community is achieved while caring for our land and water. The purpose of this policy is to support the administration of environmental and emergency management on Sq’ew?:lxw First Nation reserve land. The policy is meant to provide guidance in layman terms but is not a substitute for the Law itself.
