Nadleh Whut'en First Nation

This project builds upon the experience of the three partner First Nations in past and current environmental assessments, addressing the numerous challenges, and strengthening common approaches to a First Nations Environmental Review Process. The partner First Nations conducted research on the various aspects of the environmental assessment process including legal, social, cultural, environmental, and economic impact assessment and mitigation processes. The project researched best practices among other First Nations, and enlisted technical support to ensure scientific validity of the new First Nations Environmental Assessment process.
